These Terms & Conditions (“Terms”) govern private China AI executive immersion services (the “Programme”) designed and organised by Limen AI Lab(“Limen”, “we”, “us”). The signed proposal, statement of work, or order form for a specific Programme (“Engagement Document”) forms part of these Terms and takes precedence where it expressly differs from them.

1. The Programme

Each Programme is a bespoke executive learning engagement. Its dates, destinations, duration, group size, scope, inclusions, deliverables, fees and client responsibilities are confirmed in the Engagement Document. Potential company visits shown on china-ai-tour.com are examples, not commitments, unless named as confirmed in writing. Limen is the Programme organiser and is not a travel agency.

2. Eligibility

The Programme is designed for corporate teams, founders, executives, investors, universities and institutional partners. The client is responsible for nominating suitable participants and promptly disclosing access, safety or host-conflict considerations that could affect delivery.

3. Registration, payment, and confirmation

• A Programme is confirmed only after both parties accept the Engagement Document and the agreed initial payment has cleared.
• Deposit, milestone and balance amounts and due dates are stated in the Engagement Document. We may pause supplier commitments or delivery where an undisputed invoice is overdue.
• All fees are quoted in US dollars and are exclusive of bank, foreign-exchange, and card-processing fees, which are payable by you.

4. Cancellation and transfers

The cancellation, postponement and substitution rules for a bespoke Programme are stated in its Engagement Document because supplier commitments vary by date, city and group size. Unless that document says otherwise, costs already committed to third parties and work already completed are non-refundable. Notices must be sent in writing to yubin.yang@limenlab.ai.

5. What is not included

International flights, insurance, visas, passport fees, health requirements, personal expenses and every service not expressly included in the Engagement Document are excluded.

6. Travel documents, visa, insurance

You are solely responsible for holding a valid passport, securing the appropriate entry documents for mainland China (visa or approved visa-free category), meeting any health-entry requirements, and obtaining comprehensive travel and medical insurance covering the full duration of the Programme. On request we will provide a confirmation letter to support your visa application.

7. Itinerary changes and substitutions

Programmes take place in a fast-moving environment involving third-party hosts, laboratories, and operating companies. We reserve the right to substitute any scheduled visit, speaker, hotel, or activity with one of comparable standing if required by operational, safety, regulatory, or host-availability reasons. Minor changes do not entitle participants to a refund.

8. Code of conduct and confidentiality

Many of our hosts grant us access on the understanding that participants behave professionally. By joining the Programme you agree to:

• respect the host-specific rules communicated on site (photography limits, NDA requests, etc.);
• treat fellow participants, hosts, staff, and service providers with respect;
• keep non-public information shared by hosts confidential unless explicit consent to share is given;
• follow all applicable laws while in mainland China.

We may remove any participant whose conduct we consider, in good faith, to materially prejudice the group, a host, or the safety of the Programme. In such cases no refund is owed.

9. Photography and media

We record identifiable photos or video for marketing only with the participant's or client's permission. Host-specific photography restrictions always apply.

10. Intellectual property

All Programme materials — briefing notes, playbooks, brochures, decks — are the intellectual property of Limen AI Lab (or the respective host). Materials are provided for personal and intra-organisation use and may not be resold, republished, or used to compete with the Programme without written consent.

11. Assumption of risk

Travel, site visits, and factory/laboratory tours involve inherent risks. You participate voluntarily and assume the risks ordinarily associated with international travel and industrial site visits. You represent that you are medically fit to travel; if you have material health conditions please notify us before registering.

12. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Limen AI Lab’s total aggregate liability arising out of or in connection with the Programme shall not exceed the fees you actually paid for the Programme. We are not liable for indirect, incidental, consequential, or special damages (including lost profits, lost business opportunities, or reputational loss). Nothing in these Terms excludes liability that cannot lawfully be excluded.

13. Force majeure

We are not liable for failure or delay caused by events outside our reasonable control, including natural disasters, epidemics, government action, border closures, civil unrest, strikes, transportation failures, or failure of a host to open its premises. Where such an event prevents the Programme from running we will use commercially reasonable efforts to reschedule or offer a Programme credit of equivalent value.

14. Governing law and disputes

These Terms are governed by the laws of the People’s Republic of China (excluding, for the purposes of these Terms, the Hong Kong and Macao Special Administrative Regions and Taiwan), without regard to its conflict of laws rules. The parties agree to attempt to resolve any dispute in good faith; if the dispute remains unresolved after 30 days, it shall be submitted to the exclusive jurisdiction of the competent People’s Court at the place where Limen AI Lab is domiciled in Shanghai.
