A healthcare AI visit must distinguish administrative assistance from a tool intended to influence clinical decisions. Establish the intended use, relevant population and responsible clinical owner before discussing performance. A demonstration or vendor accuracy figure cannot establish safety or effectiveness for a different hospital, patient group or jurisdiction.
What to evaluate
Use context
Identify the user, workflow, decision boundary and affected patient or staff group.
Evidence
Separate technical performance, workflow effect, safety monitoring and outcome claims.
Governance
Inspect consent, access, validation, change control, override and incident handling.
Transfer
Test differences in population, language, workflow, regulation and infrastructure.

For an appointment-scheduling exercise, measure waiting time, missed appointments and staff correction work. Keep it separate from any evaluation of diagnosis or treatment. If a host demonstrates clinical software, ask the clinical and regulatory teams to explain the evidence and approvals applicable to that precise use. Do not supply identifiable patient records during an introductory visit. A delegation can define further diligence questions without making a medical recommendation.
